Part of our business acquires profitable online stores to scale them. Every acquisition comes with its own platform, apps and habits. We are looking for the person who designs the shared architecture of these brands and takes ownership of it.

Remote Freelance
The role
You migrate the brands we acquire from their legacy platforms (Shopify, PrestaShop and others) to Medusa. The goal is a scalable, AI ready infrastructure that improves the performance of every store in the portfolio: catalogue, speed, conversion, data. You also put AI agents to work, so that each migration goes faster than the last.
What you will do
- Design the Medusa architecture shared by the portfolio brands, and evolve it.
- Migrate catalogues, customers, orders and addresses from Shopify or PrestaShop, with redirects checked one by one.
- Connect marketing and technical tools through APIs and MCP: product feeds, advertising, email, reviews, payment, logistics.
- Open the catalogue and orders to AI agents, with only the rights they need.
- Measure the speed, conversion and errors of every store, and fix them.
What we expect
- You have already shipped and run an online store in production, ideally headless.
- You know Medusa, or you master Node.js and TypeScript well enough to pick it up fast.
- APIs, webhooks, MCP servers and third party tool integrations are part of your daily work.
- You understand the modern e-commerce marketing environment: product feeds, conversion tracking, advertising, email, marketplaces.
- You are comfortable working in written French and English.
The terms
- Fully remote, from wherever you like.
- Freelance contract, working time agreed together: a few days a month or full time.
- Pay is stated from the first conversation, depending on the role and the time involved.
- The tools and AI subscriptions needed for the work are provided.
