Business AI: private and at the right cost

Putting AI to work in a small business means picking, for each task, the cheapest model that does it well, keeping sensitive data in an environment you control, and connecting the model to your documents rather than to its training memory. Cost and confidentiality are decided at design time, not on the invoice.

This category covers the real cost of AI for a small business (tokens, subscriptions, and how to cut them by giving each task to the right model), specialised models and the small models that are often enough, private cloud LLMs or self-hosted ones when data cannot leave, enterprise RAG that makes an assistant answer from your documents, and the AI agents that perform an action in your systems. It also comments on AI news, only when it changes a decision a small business can take within three months: a price, a model, a European rule.
